🚲 Ilford Town Centre – Joint Cycling Enforcement Operation
On 14 January 2026, Ilford Town Safer Neighbourhood Team, working alongside Loxford, Clementswood and Valentines SNTs, carried out a joint Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) operation in Ilford Town Centre.
The operation targeted cyclists riding on the pavement, an offence that can place pedestrians at risk. During the operation, seven Fixed Penalty Notices were issued to cyclists who were found cycling on the pavement.
The operation was very successful and forms part of our continued efforts to improve safety in the town centre through both engagement and enforcement.
We will continue to work with partner SNTs to address local concerns and ensure Ilford Town Centre remains safe for all who live, work and visit the area.
